Relatively Speaking

It has been a lazy week, when compared with others. Valentine's Day was spent at home with steaks, shrimp, steamed spinach, and sparkling grape juice (no wine, I've got mono). After dinner it was card games and monopoly, very relaxing. Our remaining time off has been filled with finishing Season 1 of ABC's "Lost" on DVD.
Ashley and I talked today about our last remaining days at Family Video. She has 2 shifts left, and I have 8. It's very strange to be leaving a job after 6 years. I've gotten so comfortable with what needs to be said or done to fix a problem. I guess I'm just nervous about not being a pro anymore. Oh well, life can either be a comfortable bore, or a difficult adventure. I've always loved an adventure.

Aw, you sound like an old couple - except the mono thing throws it off. Did I ever tell you about the time I got mono?
